His teeth were slightly misaligned, and there were some size differences between his canines and incisors, but with limited time before the big day, he wanted to avoid braces.

We took a minimally invasive approach, carrying out professional whitening and composite edge bonding to four teeth to improve alignment, balance the proportions, and create a naturally enhanced smile that’s wedding ready!

We decided on a course of Invisalign treatment to widen her smile and improve the alignment of her front teeth. Once her teeth were in the correct position we placed 4 ultra thin porcelain veneers, creating the beautiful smile she desired.

Danny first attended the practice as he was very self-conscious about his smile. He had a history of multiple fillings on his front teeth and also clenched during periods of high stress. His wish was to get his teeth as healthy as possible and have a smile he could be confident with. After an in-depth consultation we both had a clear idea of what he wished to achieve, both functionally and aesthetically.

The Treatment

Firstly, we worked on developing a diagnostic wax up with would allow us to trail his provisional restorations. Danny stayed in his temporary crowns for 6 weeks to ensure that he was happy with the shape of his new teeth and that his bite felt comfortable.
We then proceeded to fit 10 Emax crowns, restoring both form and function as well as giving him the smile he deserved.

I’ve been ok with dentists and needles but there is something about getting work done that I get really anxious about. I had a filling on the NHS which chipped after 2 weeks. I saw Fraser for an appointment on the Monday who took the time to talk me through all my options and show me what was going on. 3 days later and I’m being seen (after I finished work for the day) by the excellent Natalie for a clean and to have it repaired (compared to the 2 months from identifying I needed the filling to having it done on the NHS). I was very nervous about the repair but she has a lovely calm demeanour which puts you at ease. She took her time, and it never felt like she was stressed or rushed, and she was happy to answer my questions after about taking care of her handiwork and how long the repair will last. She took her time with the anaesthetic and I felt far more numb (and so I was confident I was numb) than on the NHS. Even her assistant checked in if I was ok. The drill was also so much quieter than what I’d been used to on the NHS, and I didn’t realise how much that sound had put me on edge.I love the NHS so wasn’t sure about going private, but the whole experience felt so different. I usually come away from a filling feeling tense and ashamed. I realised I’d started to relax before Natalie had finished her work, and I left feeling that next time I need work done I don’t need to spend the afternoon worrying about it.

Today I got my implants fitted to say it was a journey is an understatement (extractions, bone and gum grafts). I was petrified of the dentist…I would shake to the point it felt like I was having a fit in the chair and I would sob!! Today there was no sobs or shaking and that was down to Ali. But Ali and the team assured me all would be good, and they were not wrong.I have my top and bottom teeth done and I'm so so happy with the results. Initial consultation - I was sent a lovely video of Leigh introducing herself prior to my visit. When I was there everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Leigh discussed my options and really took her time to find out exactly what I want and don’t want. There was no pressure to proceed. I have had massive problems with my teeth for many years. Recurrent infections, including progression into a sinus cavity, had numerous teeth out, constant anxiety about my teeth breaking/crumbling & a LOT of trauma from some really awful dental experiences.Anyway from the first meeting with Leigh, to my initial appointment with Ali a plan was made. I can honestly say Ali has cured my fear of dentists, he has such a positive & calming manner. I had to have sedation previously at the dentist however with Ali i’ve had a tooth extraction, bone grafting, fillings, crowns and dental implants & it’s been absolutely no problem at all. He really understood that I liked to be talked through a treatment, (in a lot of very graphic detail at times) & was very patient with this.I’m nearly at the end of the journey (for now) & have so much more confidence, I can eat properly, smile properly & have no more pain.Thanks so much to Ali & the team at Dentistry No3, I would recommend them to anyone, particularly if you are nervous or need a lot of work done.
