Fraser – Pain Free Dentist

Fraser graduated from University of Leeds in 2018 with a Distinction in a joint Master and Bachelor degree in Dental Surgery with an Oral Science BSc. As an undergraduate he gained awards including: The Charles Rippon Medal for the Most Distinguished Student of the Year; The David Rockett Prize in Oral Surgery; and The Dereks Sacks Prize in Restorative Dentistry.

Following graduation Fraser spent time working across the UK in cities such as Leeds, Newcastle and Birmingham. He completed three years of Dental Core Training in the specialities of Oral Medicine, Oral Surgery and Restorative Dentistry.

He has been published in the Oral Surgery Journal and has given presentations at The Scottish Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Conference, British Association of Oral Surgeons Conference and British and Irish Society of Oral Medicine Conference. His favourite area of Dentistry is Oral Surgery, including extracting difficult teeth. Having spent time working in the hospital environment he has gained experience working with anxious and nervous patients. He has found he enjoy making the experience as pain free and comfortable for patients as possible.

Fraser is always keen to learn and develop new skills, enjoying attending courses and training in a range of areas of Dentistry. In 2020 he gained membership to the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He aims to undertake further training in conscious sedation and implant dentistry.
